Each year the current faculty elects a Distinguished Alumnus from among
our former PhD students. This honor is based on the high-quality research
conducted by the former student and the influence he or she has had on the
field of psychology. The alumnus is invited back to Georgia Tech to give
a Colloquium about their work.
