Sara McBride
Research Interests
I am working on the following projects in the HFA Lab:
- Examining mental workload influence on a user’s dependence or trust in an automated system.
- Using Knowledge Engineering techniques to gather and document the knowledge that operators rely on when performing system-specific tasks.
- Examining human factors issues faced by home healthcare providers, and the need for human factors intervention (including future technology) to ease the frustrations and difficulties related to daily caregiving.
