My interests center about one goal: the application of psychological theory and method to problems of social and organizational importance. To this end, I have conducted both field and laboratory studies (some in cross-cultural contexts) on such issues as job satisfaction and motivation, performance appraisal, stereotyping and attribution processes, cognitive complexity, and interracial relations.
My past research involved the application of knowledge in social cognition to performance appraisal, decision making, motivation, and other problems. My current objective is to apply this information and experience in the areas of personal and national security. I intend this work to have both practical and theoretical implications.
