Driving Directions

If you are coming from the airport or driving North on I-75/85:

• Take Exit #249D (Spring Street/West Peachtree).
• At the top of the exit ramp, proceed through the first intersection (Spring Street).
• At the next intersection (West Peachtree), turn left.
• Continue on West Peachtree for approximately one block and turn left on North Avenue.
• Cross over the interstate and Techwood Drive. Continue on North Avenue to Cherry Street (before the next light, Tech Parkway) and make a right.
• At the stop sign, make a LEFT onto Ferst Drive. The School of Psychology, (J.S. Coon Building), will be on your RIGHT. (This is building 45 on the SC part of the campus map.)
• There are several visitor parking spaces, just past the J.S. Coon Building (Psychology), on the RIGHT side of Ferst Drive, after the red sign: “School of Psychology Visitor Parking." If all of those are full, proceed further down Ferst Drive to the Student Center Visitor Parking Deck, located on the RIGHT.
• Student Center Visitor Parking Deck is Building 54 shown on the SC part of the campus map.

If you are driving south on I-75/I-85:

• Take Exit #249D (North Avenue).
• At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto North Avenue.
• Cross Techwood Drive (the first light) and continue on North Avenue to Cherry Street (before the next light, Tech Parkway) and make a right.
• At the stop sign, make a LEFT onto Ferst Drive. The School of Psychology will be on your RIGHT.

If you are taking MARTA (Atlanta's subway) from the airport:

• Trains take you from the airport baggage claim to the North Avenue station. It is a 20-minute ride. Walk three blocks west on North Avenue to campus or transfer to a bus on route #13 to Tech. Fare is $1.75 one way, and exact change is required (change machines are available at MARTA stations).
• Get off the bus at Cherry St., walk one block in from North Ave., the School of Psychology is in the J.S. Coon Building across from the stop sign.
