Where to Participate

We have two research facilities for your convenience:

  • Adult Development Lab (ADL) at Georgia Tech
  • Adult Development and Aging Research Lab (ADAR) at Marietta

Studies are frequently run out of both facilities and you may participate at one or both of these labs.

Adult Development Lab (ADL) at Georgia Tech

The ADL is a research team at Georgia Tech’s School of Psychology that primarily examines how people think, explain and reason about social situations. This and the fact that we are concerned with a wide range of the lifespan (adolescence through older adulthood) distinguishes us from other psychological researchers at Georgia Tech. Our lab is involved in conducting a wide variety of research projects. You can read about these projects by clicking here.

Adult Development and Aging Research (ADAR) Lab at Marietta

The ADAR Lab is a research team at Georgia Tech’s School of Psychology that examines how people think, explain and reason in social settings as well as examining aging issues and their relationships to learning strategies, personal beliefs and intelligence. This lab is a joint research team between the Adult Development Lab and the Adult Cognition Lab in the School of Psychology.
