Directions to the Psychology Building at Georgia Tech

From I-75/85 Northbound:
Exit at the US 19/Spring Street Exit (#249D) toward US 29/West Peachtree St.
Turn LEFT on US 29/ West Peachtree Street (which is the second light after you are off the exit)
Turn LEFT onto North Ave. NW
Turn RIGHT at the third light onto Tech Parkway
Turn RIGHT at the first light onto Regents Drive where you will enter the Georgia Tech Campus
Immediately turn RIGHT onto Ferst Drive

From I-75/85 Southbound:
Exit #249D toward North Ave/Georgia Tech
Turn RIGHT at the light onto North Avenue NW
Turn RIGHT at the third light onto Tech Parkway
Turn RIGHT at the first light onto Regents Drive where you will enter the Georgia Tech Campus
Immediately turn RIGHT onto Ferst Drive

If you are driving West on North Avenue:
1. You make a RIGHT on CHERRY STREET (which is just a few streets down after you pass WEST PEACHTREE STREET).
2. Once on CHERRY STREET turn LEFT on to FERST DRIVE at the stop sign.

If you are driving East on North Avenue:
1. You make a LEFT on CHERRY STREET (which is the first side street after TECH PARKWAY)
2. Once on CHERRY STREET turn LEFT on to FERST DRIVE at the stop sign.

Parking Instructions

Park in a designated School of Psychology Visitor parking space (signs posted on poles, refer to parking map for location). If all of the designated Psychology Visitor parking spaces are occupied, turn around and continue on Ferst Drive for about ¼ mile and pull into the Student Center Visitor Lot, which has a parking attendant and gate. The attendant station is a small brick building with the numbers 355 on the front. If you come to a traffic light on Ferst Drive, you’ve gone too far. The Student Visitor Lot is a paid lot. Tell the parking attendant your name and that you are here for a Psychology Experiment and they should let you park for free – if not, take a ticket and we will reimburse you for the cost of parking.

Inside the Building

The Coon Building is located across from the Tech Tower on the corner of Cherry St. and Ferst Drive. The Adult Development Lab is Room G23 – the ground floor (walls are pale yellow).
